Fiasconaro is one of the most beloved Italian Dove Cake brands founded in 1953 in Castelbuono, Sicily. The founder, Mario Fiasconaro, started it off as an ice-cream shop and a bakery. However, soon, the brand became one of the pioneers of fabled Italian confections, such as Dove Cakes made with a signature Sicilian recipe. Additionally, this hand-wrapped delicacy goes extremely well with chocolate-hazelnut spread, mascarpone cream, and orange marmalade.
- Ingredients: Soft wheat flour, raisin (14%), butter, sugar, fresh eggs candied orange peel from fresh (10%) (orange peel, sugar, lemon juice concentrate), fresh egg yolk, natural yeast (contains wheat flour), Marsala (2%), Sicilian honey, inverted sugar, orange purée, emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, Zibibbo wine (0,5%), cocoa butter, powdered skimmed milk, salt, natural flavorings: vanilla berries. May contain traces of nuts.
