The Filippi Special Colomba with Apricot has the dough of the traditional colomba but with something more. In this dessert we have placed the accent on sweetness. Filippi Artisan Colomba are made with simple and genuine ingredients, processed with natural methods that preserve the quality of the raw material.
Pasticceria Filippi uses only Sourdough for the leavening of doves and honeyproduced by a small local beekeeper to make them even more naturally sweet: these are attentions that make our doves good ... not only at the table!
The classic dough of flour, eggs, butter, untreated vanilla berries from Madagascar, is embellished with velvety and special Piedmontese apricots. A rich and crunchy glaze of almonds "Prima Bari" hides a heart made even softer and sweeter by many pieces of candied fruit, naturally colorful, incredibly soft and with an even more palatable and enveloping scent.
